Since our students are thriving so much at forest school we wanted to open our doors to children in our community on PD Days.   Children will have an opportunity to experience Forest School in it’s entirety.  From self directed, emergent and play based learning, to experiencing perceived risky play; children will leave forest school with an increase in self confidence, self identity and so much more. 

Please Label Everything!

• Child’s Back Pack with Water, Lunch & EXTRA Snacks
• others; rain suit, sunscreen, bug repellent, lip balm
• Child’s Extra Gear Tote (pack extra EVERYTHING!) We recommend packing everything into a big Rubbermaid container with your child’s name on it.
• Shoes, rubber boots, socks, hats, underwear, pants, shirt, sweater, coat… think layers! (see handbook for layering tips).
• Dress in proper attire for hiking
• including hat, sunglasses (optional), bug spray, socks & shoes, long pants, etc.
• crocks, water shoes, or secure sandals are great for “creek crossings!” in warmer weather.
• Please also bring printed and completed documents (attached) and cheques made payable to At Last Forest School!
• Please pack your child’s backpack and extra gear tote thoroughly to avoid a call home. Ensuring your child(ren) are comfortable will ensure their comfort and safety!

If we close due to Covid, Parents will be issued a full refund minus $10.00 Admin. fee.

If you need to withdraw from the program:

• 30 days before camp start = Full Refund minus $10.00 admin fee.
• 15 Days before camp start = 50% Refund
• 7 days before camp start = 25% Refund 
• 6 Days or less notice before camp start = No Refund
